Pamela
Hoeberg Powers, Manager, NJ Lic. No. 4237, is a native
of Haddonfield. She began working at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services in
1995. In addition to being a licensed funeral director, Pam is also
a licensed funeral insurance representative. She graduated from
Rutgers University and received her Certification in Mortuary Science
from Mercer County Community College. Pam's warm and caring
personality is always evident. She displays an empathy for the family
members which seems to help them through their time of sorrow. She
is a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Haddonfield.
She volunteers at Cramer Elementary School in Camden and works with
Girl Scout Troop #042. Pam is also enjoying her new role as mother
to Riley and Laura.
Gene Kain, President, NJ Lic. No. 3258, the third owner of Kain-Murphy Funeral Services and recent
owner of Holl Murphy Funeral Home and Kain Funeral Services, is a life long resident of Haddonfield
and has volunteered his time generously to many local organizations.
From May 1997 to May 2001, he served as Mayor of the community. He is
a Gettysburg College graduate and a licensed funeral director since
1976. Gene has a strong belief in the dignity of the funeral
service as well as a genuine affection for people. His goal is to be
there to offer support and the best service possible--as service distinguished
by warmth and a touch of class.
